From February to May every two weeks, Romanian Volunteers and Erasmus students went to the Saint Mary Hospital in Iasi were children are treated and we played with them. Two medical tests were required in order to take part in the project, but at the end, more than 20 Erasmus took part.
We played with the kids and taught them things about the Erasmus home countries. We painted the countries flags with them, sang, painted, made puzzles and played traditional games.
We were happy to see that when we came back to the hospital, the kids already knew us and were already waiting for us. It was really nice to bring some joy in those kids life and get the Erasmus involved in the SocialErasmus spirit. We managed to buy all our materials with money donated by Erasmus students and the big smiles the kids' faces and the thanks we received from their family paid that everything back twice.
