Organic Farm

The organic farm project aims at familiarising foreign students with the community and the concept of volunteering. Its goal is to make students active, not afraid to get engaged in unusual activities. Helping with everyday farm tasks, participants experience the organic farm life and the countryside of the Moravian region.   
We arrived on Friday afternoon, got familiar with environment of the farm and the surrounding area. We learned about eco farming and played games in the evening. On Saturday, we helped out all day in the farm. We worked with manure and cleared meadows, then treated trees along an avenue. On Sunday very early in the morning, we tried milking sheep and went for a long walk to a nearby canyon. We returned in the afternoon, bought cheese and rushed to the bus to get back to Brno.
