EESC Civil Society Prize

The Erasmus Student Network was awarded the First 2011 EESC Civil Society Prize for the SocialErasmus project and benefited from a grant of the European Commission from October 2011 to October 2012 under the Erasmus Accompanying Measures part of Lifelong Learning Programme.

Erasmus Accompanying Measures

The Erasmus Student Network benefited from a grant of the European Commission from October 2011 to October 2012 under the Erasmus Accompanying Measures, part of Lifelong Learning Programme, for the SocialErasmus project.
Erasmus accompanying measures aim at supporting various activities which, though not eligible under the main Erasmus Programme, will clearly contribute to achieving its objectives. These projects come as complement to projects carried out under the other Erasmus actions. They have relevance to the modernisation agenda of higher education, enhance the implementation of Erasmus mobility, aim to support communication activities, and events for the dissemination and exploitation of results of Erasmus projects, or foster transversal aspects. These accompanying measures are expected to produce a better impact of these results in the field of higher education and society at large.
